Our products are carefully crafted with high-quality ingredients, prioritizing the safety and well-being of our customers. We use natural wax and non-toxic fragrances, avoiding harmful substances often found in conventional candles. Additionally, our candles are designed to burn cleanly, minimizing the release of harmful particles into the air. Q: What are the jesmonite products made of?
Jesmonite products are made from a combination of acrylic resin and a mineral powder, typically gypsum or clay. This mixture creates a lightweight, durable, and versatile material that can be molded into various shapes and finishes. Jesmonite is known for its cement-like appearance and eco-friendliness, allowing for a wide range of colors and textures.
Q: Is our product food-safe?
Please note that our products are intended for decorative purposes only and should not be used for eating food or in areas with frequent water exposure.
Q: Is the product water proof?
All our Jesmonite products are sealed with a food safe, solvent free, non-toxic sealer making it water-repellent, not waterproof. Our products should not be used in areas with frequent water exposure.
Q: How do i take care of my product?
To care for your product and maintain its original appearance, we recommend cleaning with a damp cloth and mild soap and wiping any strong contaminants such as wine, coffee or tea as soon as possible. Using any harsh cleaning products or harsh scrubbing will damage the surface of your piece.
Did your item lose it's shine over time? Don't worry, you can easily bring it back by rubbing it with our sealer.
Q: Why my product have air bubbles?
Each piece is crafted entirely by hand, from the initial mixing and colouring to the casting, sanding, and sealing process. This hands-on approach ensures that every item has its own distinct charm and character. As a result, slight variations in patterns and colours may occur as well as the possible appearance of small air bubbles that contribute to its uniqueness and one-of-the-kind nature.

Q: How works the shipping policy?
FREE Standard Shipping on orders over €60.00. All our products are custom made to order. We aim to post your items within 3-7 business days of your purchase. Please allow this time for your order to be made and shipped. After you purchase from us, you will receive an email with your order confirmation. We will send you another email when we dispatch your order which will include your order details, order number, delivery address and a tracking number from An Post at checkout. Please check your spam/junk folders as well or get in touch if you don't find your tracking number and we will happily help.Please check your address and make sure it is correct and get in touch if you need to correct it before we send it out, otherwise we won't be able to modify your details. The original postage for the parcels returning to us for incorrect address or for not being picked up is non refundable as it is a service provided by An Post and they don't make refunds for used postage.
Q: Do you have refund policy?
Please be aware that all of our candles are handmade, so minor variations in appearance and color may occur. These unique characteristics are a natural part of each candle and are not considered defects. By making a purchase, you agree to these variations as detailed in the product listing.
Therefore, we cannot accept returns due to variations in color, texture, or minor differences from product photos. By completing your purchase, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
We offer a 14-day return policy for items that arrive defective or are damaged during shipping. To qualify for a return, the candle must be in the original condition in which you received it, unused, and in its original packaging.
Please note that we do not issue monetary refunds. Instead, we provide exchanges for items of equal value or offer a voucher for future purchases.
Q: Exchanges
We only replace items that are defective or damaged during transit, such as cases of candle flattening, broken pieces, or significant deformations.
To process an exchange, please provide the following photos:
1. The exterior of the packaging, showing any visible damage
2. The shipping label, with the address and barcode clearly visible
3. The opened package with all contents visible
4. The damaged candle or item itself
Contact us via email within 48 hours of delivery with this information to request an exchange. Once approved, we will provide further instructions. Exchanges are only available for items confirmed to be damaged.
Q: Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us promptly if the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Issues like candle flattening, broken pieces, or other transport-related damage qualify for an exchange.
While we take great care to wrap and protect all packages, shipping damage can sometimes occur. If your order arrives damaged, please refer to the exchange instructions above.
We are happy to provide a replacement for damaged items, but please note that we do not issue refunds under any circumstances.
Q: Parcels Returned to Sender
If a package is returned to the sender due to delivery issues, the customer is responsible for the cost of re-shipping. We will NOT cover any postal fees incurred upon receiving a returned parcel.
Q: Lost and Stolen Parcels
We are not liable for parcels left outdoors in extreme weather conditions or for any parcels stolen after delivery. Please ensure your delivery location is secure.
Q: How does the collection work?
We also have a collection point for anyone who prefers not to choose the shipping option. This collection point is necessary since we do not have an open store to the public. It is located in Dublin 8, Islandbridge, and will take place every Monday or on a scheduled day. When the customer comes to collect the item, payment must be completed on our website, and they will need to provide proof of the payment email.

Since each candle is 100% hand-poured, slight imperfections are natural and to be expected.
Please note that "frosting" may occur, which is a normal characteristic of soy wax and does not affect the candle’s performance.
For optimal results, burn in 3-hour increments and trim the wick to 0.5 cm before each use.
We recommend placing your candle on a dish or plate to protect surfaces from potential wax drips.
For candles with irregular shapes, full burning may not always be achieved.

Each jesmonite piece is hand-poured, sanded, and sealed, with protective pads on the bottom to prevent surface scratches. Please note that due to the handmade nature of these products, slight variations, minor irregularities, and bubbles may occur during production, making each piece unique.

* Clean with a soft damp cloth. For indoor use only. Not suitable for food. Avoid contact with sharp objects to prevent scratches.
